Remember, wikis or any editable website, can be used in many dynamic ways, so use your imagination and be creative, always following the 3 rules - Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Honest!
1.) Make your HOMEPAGE
This is what everyone will see when they go to your site's main address. This of this page as the GATEWAY to everything YOU! Choose a name for your webpage that will identify you without using your last name, school, or city. As an adult, you may want to use your name so people can find you more easily, but for now, keep all personal identifying information out of your title and off of your pages. For instance, my homepage in Weebly is the page the comes up when you type:
mrtozer.weebly.com
I have titled it as my main page, identifying what I teach, and put links to other pages that I think are important for now. Because it is editable, I can change it anytime, depending on how I want to use it.
2.) Make a page for your e-Portfolio
Again, think about what to title it when you create it. Make sure your spelling is exactly the way you want it! It is a good idea to link it back to your HOMEPAGE, so you can go between the two pages easily.
For now, this page will be mostly empty, because you need to create digital text, pictures, and videos of your projects before you can link them here. Be creative and build a page that links to your favorite pieces of work!
3.) Make a Work-In-Progress page
This is a page where you can link to new pages that you are working on
