Red-Spotted Newt near Cook's Pond!
Welcome to our small corner in Cyberspace! Here is where we are going to launch our own e-Portfolio Websites. In this space you will find some templates and ideas you can use in setting up your own sites, and connect to others. I will assign a different challenge a week, so students can build their own spaces and make them uniquely their own.
*** This is a reminder about WEB SAFETY - Always, Always, Always remember these 3 basic RULES: 1.) Be Safe - Never give out personal information, 1st name and last initial ONLY!
2.) Be Kind - It is easy to be negative, and even easier to unintentionally cause BIG problems. Always be positive when dealing with others, and you will have a better online and real life experience.
3.) Be Honest! Never pretend to be someone you are not, lie about your age, or try to cheat others in any way. A lesson you need to learn right way is that ANYTHING you ever do online is there FOREVER! Even when deleted, once it is in cyberspace, the potential for others to retrieve it always exists. SO - Don't do something you may regret. The consequences for breaking these rules CAN include losing Internet privileges in school, as well as police involvement. ***
